Nagpur Kulhad Chaat Recipe | How to make Nagpur Kulhad Chaat at Home
Materials
- 2 cups White Peas
- 2.5 cups Water
- Salt as per Taste
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- 3 Chopped Chillies
- 2 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1/2 tsp Black Salt
- 1/2 tsp Dry Mango Powder
- 4 tbsp Roasted Peanuts
- 3 – 4 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 2 Chopped Tomato
- 2 Boiled Potato
- 2 tbsp Green Chutney
- 2 tbsp Tamarind Chutney
- Chopped Coriander
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- Fresh Thick Curd
- Nylon Sev
- Boondi
- Onion & Coriander mix
- Pomegranate Seeds
- Red Chilli Powder
- Chaat Masala
- Paapdi
- Sliced Tomato
Instructions
- To make Nagpur Kulhad Chaat take 2 cups of white Peas and soak them overnight in water and remove the excess water.
- Now place a cooker on flame and add soaked peas into it.
- Now add 2.5 cups of water and salt as per taste into the cooker.
- Now put a lid on the cooker and cook until the 3-4 whistle.
- After – 3 to 4 whistle peas boiled well now transfer it in a bowl.
- Now place a pan on medium flame and add 1 tsp of oil and heat.
- Now add 1 tsp of grated ginger, 3 chopped green chili, and sauté on low medium flame.
- Now add 2 tbsp of Chopped onion and roast for 30 seconds.
- Now on low flame add 1 tsp of red chili powder, 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder mix, and sauté well for 30 seconds.
- Now add 3 tbsp of roasted peanuts and mix and roast well.
- After Roasting peanuts and Masala add 3 – 4 tbsp of water and cook on medium flame.
- Now add 2 cups of boiled White peas and Mess and Mix well.
- Now add, 2 tbsp of chopped onion, 2 chopped tomato, 2 boiled potato, 2 tbsp of green chutney, 2 tbsp of tamarind chutney, chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
- Now add water to adjust consistency and mix well.
- Now add salt as per taste and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and add 1 tbsp of lemon juice, chopped coriander and mix well.
- Now to served it take Kulhad/Sakora/Clay bowl and add prepared chaat in kulhad.
- Now add Fresh thick curd, Nylon Sev, Boondi.
- Now add onion and coriander mix, pomegranate seeds.
- Now sprinkle some Red chili powder, chaat Masala, and add papdi and a tomato slice to it.
- Now your Nagur kulhad chaat is ready and you can enjoy it.
