Rose Potato Samosa Recipe | How to make Rose Potato Samosa | Samosa Recipe
Materials
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour/Maida
- Salt as per taste
- 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds/Ajwain
- 1/4 cup Oil
- 4 Boiled Potato
- 2 Chopped Chiilies
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 Chopped Onion
- Chopped Coriander
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 5 tbsp Rice Flour
- Cooking oil for frying
Instructions
- To make Rose Potato Samosa, first take a wide bowl and add 2 cups of All-purpose flour to it.
- Now, into All-purpose flour, add 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp carom seeds, and 1/4 cup of oil and mix everything well with your hands.
- Now add water as required and prepare a semi-tight dough
- Now, add some drops of oil to Dough and grease it on all sides.
- Now cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Now, to make Samosa stuffing, first take four boiled potatoes.
- Now take a grater and great or mess all potato.
- Now, into the grated potato, add two chopped green chilli, 1 tsp of ginger, one medium size onion, and some chopped coriander.
- Now add1 tsp of red chilli flakes, one pinch of turmeric powder, 1.2 tsp of cumin powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of chaat masala.
- Now add 5 tbsp of rice flour ( Alternatively, you can use bread crumb or Poha powder or Arrarote powder).
- Now, mix everything well and prepare samosa stuffing.
- Now, take small lemon size stuffing and prepare a round ball from all mix.
- Now, in a small bowl, take 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour, add water to it, and mix well and prepare a slurry.
- After 10 minutes, check the samosa dough and knead it again.
- Now, divide the dough into two parts and keep them covered.
- Now, take a portion of Dough and Dough and roll it to medium thickness on a platform.
- Now take a round cutter or tiffin box and cut the Dough into small puri and remove the excess Dough.
- Now take a puri and cut cross and keep small space in the centre.
- Now, place a stuffing ball on mid of rolled Dough, cut all puri, and place one-on stuffing ball on them.
- Now apply Prepared All-purpose flour slurry on all sides of puri.
- Now, take one part of puri and cover the stuffing.
- Now, take the second part of puri and cover the stuffing.
- Now, take the third part of puri and cover the stuffing.
- Now, take the fourth part of puri and cover the stuffing.
- Now follow the same process and make Rose samosa from all Dough and stuffing.
- Now, you can store these samosas in an airtight box and put that box into the fridge.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, then add prepared rose samosa to it and fry well on all sides on low flame.
- After samosa turns to Golden, transfer them into a plate and fry your second beatch.
- Now your Rose Potato samosa is entirely ready, and you can enjoy them.
