It is a straightforward and easy recipe, and in this recipe, we will make the cake with Custard and Milk Malai, and the special thing abut this recipe that you can make it in just some time.

So without wasting any time, let’s start this recipe.

Ingredients of Custard Malai Cake Recipe 

  • Water – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 1/2 cup
  • Food Color – 2 drops
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Milk – 2 cups(500 ml)
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp
  • Milk – 5 tbsp 
  • Custard Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Milk Malai – 2 tbsp
  • Toastie/Rusk
  • Dessicatted Coconut

In this post, I will share a Lockdown special Cake Recipe; and this recipe is very easy and straightforward, and you can make it with very few ingredients.

Materials

  • 1 tbp Water 
  • 1/2 cup Sugar 
  • 2 drops Food Color
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder 
  • 2 cups Milk 
  • 3 tbsp Sugar 
  • 5 tbsp Milk 
  • 1 tbsp Custard Powder 
  • 2 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 tbsp Milk Malai 
  • Toastie/Rusk
  • Dessicatted Coconut

Instructions

  •  To make custard Malai cake, first place a pan on medium flame and add 1 cup of water and 5 tbsp of sugar to it.
  • Now boil it for 2 to 3 minutes and melt the sugar.
  • While boiling the water, add two drops of orange food colour and 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
  • After sugar melt completely, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
  •  Now, place a pan on flame, add 2 cups of milk and 3 tbsp of sugar, and boil on medium flame.
  • Now stir and melt the sugar completely.
  • Now, in a bowl, take 5 tbsp of milk.
  • Now, into milk, add 1 tbsp of custard powder and 2 tbsp of cornflour to it and mix well.
  •  After milk starts Boiling, turn the flame to low and custard powder solution, mix it into boiling milk in batches, mix well, and continuously stir.
  • After the mix becomes thick then add 2 tbsp of milk malai and mix well.
  •  If the mix start coating on the spatula, then mix is cooked perfectly and turn off the flame.
  • Now take Some Rusk/Tostie.
  • Now, take any Wide Bowl or cake tin.
  • Now, place the rusk into the Wide Bowl.
  • Now add Prepared sugar syrup on the Rusk.
  •  Now add prepared Custard Mix and spread well.
  • Now, make a layer of desiccated coconut on the cake.
  •  Now add Rusk again and make another layer of it and add sugar syrup to it.
  • Now again, add custard mix and spread well.
  • Now, in the last, garnish it with pistachio or tutti frutti.
  •  Now, put it into the fridge for 2 hours to set.
  •  AFter 2 hours, your cake is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.

Instant Custard Malai Cake Recipe – Step By Step
