Gujarati Style Adadiya Pak Recipe | How to make Adadiya Pak at Home | Black Gram Fudge Recipe
Materials
- Split Black Gram – 250 grams
- Jaggery – 1.5 cup (250 gram)
- Clarified Butter/Ghee – 1.5 cup
- Hot Milk – 2 tbsp Hot
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Almonds – 2 tbsp
- Cashew nut – 2 tbsp
- Pistachio – 1 tbsp
- Desiccated Coconut – 4 tbsp
- Edible Gum – 1/4 cup
- Milk – 1/4 cup (5 tbsp)
- Dry Ginger – 1 tsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Nutmeg/Jaiphal – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make Super healthy & Perfect Adadiya Pak, first take 250 Grams of washed & dried Split Black Gram, 1.5 cups of crushed jaggery, 1.5 cups of melted ghee.
- Now, take a grinding jar, add Split Black Gram to it, make a coarse powder, and transfer it to a bowl.
- Now, take a small bowl, add 2 tbsp of hot milk & 2 tbsp of hot ghee and mix well.
- Now, little by little, add milk-ghee mix into black gram powder and mix gently.
- Now, gently press on the mix and make the surface even.
- Now, cover the mix and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Now take a grinding jar, add 2 tbsp of almonds, 2 tbsp of cashew, 1 tbsp of pistachio.
- Now grind well, make a coarse powder, and transfer it to a bowl.
- Into dry fruit powder, add 4 tbsp of desiccated coconut and mix well.
- Now, add 1/4 cup of edible gum into the grinding jar, grind well, and make a coarse powder.
- After 10 minutes, check the Black gram powder, filter it with a strainer, and separate the thick pieces.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add 1.5 cups of a black gram to it, and heat well.
- After ghee is hot, add prepared Dal powder, mix well and roast on low flame.
- After bubbles appear, add edible gum powder, mix well, and roast.
- Now, little by little, add 1/4 cup of milk and mix well on low flame, stir and cook.
- Now add dry fruit mix and mix well.
- Now add 1 tsp of dry ginger powder, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, grated nutmeg, and mix well.
- While roasting the mix, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- After the mix is roasted well and turns golden, turn off the platform and keep on the platform.

- Now, transfer the Adadiya Pak mix into greased tray and spread well.
- Now garnish the Adadiya Pak with dry fruits and let it Set for 2-3 hours.
- After 2-3 hours, check the Adsdiya Pak and cut it into pieces.
- Now, your Adadiya Pak is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
