Masala Puri Chaat Recipe | How to make Masala Chaat Puri at Home | Easy Chaat Recipe
Materials
- 1 cup Dry Peas(Green or white)
- 2 Peeled Potato
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Chopped Onion
- 2 pcs Cloves
- 3 Chopped green chilli
- 1.5 inch Chopped ginger
- 6 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Chopped tomato
- Coriander
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Black salt
- 2 pinch Turmeric powder
- Pani Puri
- Green chutney
- Tamarind Chutney
- Chopped onion and tomato
- Chaat masala, Black salt, red chilli powder
- Nylon Sev
- Coriander
Instructions
- To make Bangalore special Masala Chaat, first take 1 cup of dry peas( You can use any white or green peas for this recipe, but traditionally green peas are perfect for this recipe).
- Now wash and soak the peas into the water overnight.
- Now remove the excess water and with this take two peeled potatoes.
- Now, roughly cut the potato.
- Now, place a cooker on the pan and add soaked peas & potato.
- Now add 2 cups of water, 1 tsp of salt, close the lid, and cook for 3-4 whistle.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add 1 tsp of oil to it and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds and mix well.
- Now add one chopped onion, two cloves and mix well and saute on medium flame.
- After 1 minute, add three chopped green chilli, 1.5 inches of chopped ginger and six garlic cloves and mix well, and roast.
- After the onion turns a little translucent, add one roughly chopped tomato and mix well and roast.
- After the tomato turns a little soft, turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
- After a 3-4 whistle, check the cooker, take 2 tbsp of peas into a bowl, and keep it aside; we will use it later.
- Now mash potato and peas with the help of a masher and keep them aside.
- Now, take a grinding jar and add tomato mix, 2 tbsp of peas, 1 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of coriander.
- Now grind it well and make a fine paste.
- Now again, place the pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of oil to it and heat well.
- After the oil is hot on low flame, add 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of black salt, two pinches of turmeric powder and mix everything well and roast a little.
- After roasting it a little, add tomato mix, mix everything well, and cook on a low medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Now add mashed potato & peas mix, 1/2 cup of water, and mix everything well.
- Now add salt per taste and mix well and boil it.
- Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice and mix well.
- Now add salt as per taste and mix well, and your masala Peas is ready.
- Now, to prepare Masala Chaat, take a plate and add crushed pain puri to it.
- Now add Masala Peas on crushed Pani puri.
- Now add green chutney, Tamarind chutney, Chopped onion, Chopped tomato.
- Now sprinkle red chilli powder, chaat masala, black salt, nylon Sev and finely chopped coriander.
- Now your Market-style Masala Chaat Puri is entirely ready, and you can enjoy it.
