Materials
Ingredient For Idli
- 1 cup Semolina/Sooji
- 3/4 cup Curd
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1 tsp Yellow Split Pea/Chana Dal
- 1 tsp Urad Dal/Black Gram
- Chopped Curry Leaves
- 4 tbsp Finely Chopped Croot
- 4 tbsp Chopped Yellow Capsicum
- 4 tbsp Chopped Red Capsicum
- 4 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 2 Finely Chopped Chillies
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Sachet Eno Fruit Salt
Ingredient For Chutney
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 Cup Channa Dal
- 4-5 Curry Leaves
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Grated Ginger
- Salt As Per Taste.
Ingredient For Tadka
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 1/4 tsp Urad Dal
- Curry Leaves
Instructions
- To make Instant Rava idli first of all take a bowl and add 1 cup of suji.
- Now add 3/4 cup of curd and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 cup of water and batches and prepare the semi-thick batter.
- Now close the lid and let it rest for 10 Minutes.
- Now put a pan on gas and add 1 tbsp of oil and heat on medium flame.
- after oil becomes hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of chana dal/ Gram Dal, 1 tsp of urad dal/Black gram saute on low medium flame.
- Now add chopped curry leaves and mix well.
- Now add 4 tbsp of finely chopped carrot, 4 tbsp of yellow capsicum, 4 tbsp of chopped red capsicum, 4 tbsp of chopped onion, and 2 finely chopped red chili and saute for 2 Minutes.
- Now turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Now again check the batter and if it becomes thick then add 2 tbsp of water and mix well.
- Now into the batter, add 1 tsp of salt, and add prepared Tadka in it and mix well.
- Now take small plates and grease them with oil.
- Now into batter add 1 sachet of Eno fruit salt and add 1 tsp of water to activate it and mix everything well in one direction.
- Now fill 3/4 of grease plated with batter.
- Now put a kadhai on gas and add water and place a stand and heat well for 5 minutes.
- Now place a Big plate on the stand and place prepared idli plates on Big Plate.
- Now close the lid and cook on a high medium flame for 6 to 7 minutes.
- Now we will make instant chana dal chutney to make our idli testier.
- Now put a pan on gas and add 2 tbsp of oil in it and heat on medium flame.
- After oil becomes hot then add 1/4 cup of chana dal and roast until golden.
- Now add 4 -5 leaves of curry leaves, 5 cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp of grated ginger, and roast well.
- Now add 4 to 5 dry red chili and saute well on low flame.
- Now turn off the flame and keep it aside and let it cool.
- Now take a grinding jar and add cool chutney mix, salt as per taste, and some water and blend well.
- Now transfer it into a plate.
- Now put a Tadka pan on gas and add 1 tsp of oil in it and heat.
- After oil becomes hot then add 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds, 2 pinches of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of urad dal, and some curry leaves.
- Now turn off the gas and add Tadka to the chutney.
- Now after 7 minutes check idli with the help of a toothpick.
- Now take the plates out from the cooker and let them cool.
- Now separate ends with help of a spoon and de-mold them.
- Now your testy idli and chutney are completely ready and you can enjoy them.

Instant Rava Idli Recipe – Step By Step
1 – To make Instant Rava idli first of all take a bowl and add 1 cup of suji.

28 – Now turn off the gas and add Tadka to the chutney.
29 – Now after 7 minutes check idli with the help of a toothpick.
30 – Now take the plates out from the cooker and let them cool.
31 – Now separate ends with help of a spoon and de-mold them.
32 – Now your testy idli and chutney are completely ready and you can enjoy them.
