Ingredients of Rice Flour Appam

Instant Rice Flour Appam | Appam with rice flour Recipe | How to make rice flour appam
Materials
- 1 cup Rice Flour
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- 1 Finely Chopped Chilli
- 1/2 inch Chopped Ginger
- 1/4 cup Oats
- 2 tbsp Sooji/Semolina
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 20 Dry Red Chillies
- Curry Leaves
- 1/2 cup Urad Dal
- 1/2 cup Channa Dal
- 1 tsp Peppercorns
- 2 tbsp Sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp Asafoetida
- Salt as per taste
- 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
Instructions
- To make Rice appe, first of all, take a bowl and add 1 cup of rice flour, ½ cup of Curd.
- Now add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 finely chopped green chili, ½ inch of finely chopped ginger.
- Now add ¼ cup of oats, 2 tbsp of semolina, now add some water prepare a thick Batter.
- Now let it rest for 5 Minutes.
- Now we will make idli masala and for this put a pan on gas on medium flame.
- Now add 15 to 20 Dry red chili and roast it until puffy and crisp.
- Now add some curry leave in it dry roast until puffy and crisp.
- Now transfer chili and curry leaves into a plate.
- Now again put the pan on gas and add ½ cup of urad dal, ¼ cup of chana dal, and dry roast until golden and aromatic.
- Now add 1 tsp of peppercorns, 2 tbsp of sesame seeds, and dry roast everything until it becomes golden.
- Now keep it aside and let it cool down.
- Now mix everything and grind everything in a grinding jar.
- After grinding everything into the grinding jar add 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, salt as per taste, 1 pinch of turmeric powder, and blend everything again.
- Now transfer powder into an airtight container.
- Now again check all Batter and add finely chopped coriander, salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and mix everything well.
- Now take an appe pan and grease it with oil.
- Now put appe pan on gas and heat it on medium flame.
- Now add batter into appe molds and close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Now when they become golden then flip all appe and cook another side,
- Now all appe are ready and transfer them into a Bowl.
- Now add 2 tbsp of idli masala on appe and coat on all sides.
- Now take a pan and put it on the gas and add 1tbsp of ghee and heat it on medium flame.
- Now place all appe into the pan and roast them in ghee.
- Now add some green coriander and your rice appe are ready and you can enjoy them.
