Chakli is an interesting and easy deep fried snack recipe made with rice flour,gram flour and spices. Chakli is very tasty & delicious & easy to make. Chakli is also called Muruku which can be enjoyed with evening tea. This snack can be easily made for any festive occasions. Deep fried, perfectly crisp and crunchy and deliciously light spiral shaped snack.
कुछ ही मिनटों में सबसे क्रिस्पी चकली वो भी कम मेहनत/बिना मशीन के भी Chakli – Instant Chakli Recipe
Rice flour – 1 cup
Gram flour – 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
Carom seeds – 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt as per taste
Sesame seeds – 1 tsp
Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
Melted ghee – 3 tbsp
Hot water as required
Cooking oil for deep fry
- To make Instant Chakli take a bowl & add rice flour.
- Add Gram flour,cumin seeds,carom seeds,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,salt as per taste,sesame seeds,asafoetida,melted ghee.
- Mix well & add hot water little by little as required.
- Knead well & prepare stiff & smooth dough.
- Tip : Use hot water & oil/ghee for crispyness.
- Coat with oil/ghee.
- Take Chakli Maker & grease with ghee/oil.
- Grease hand with ghee/oil.
- Make a roll with dough & Fill Chakli maker with rolled dough.
- Take any Plate/Chopping board & keep butter paper over it.
- Roll Chakli Maker slowly to make chakli.
- Press & seal the edge of chakli.
- Heat oil for deep frying.
- With help of spoon add prepared chakli into oil.
- Fry on medium flame until golden crisp.
- Flip and fry on both sides on medium flame.
- Take out on a strainer to remove excess oil.
- Store in air tight container for 1 month.
- Instant Chakli is ready to serve.Enjoy!!
