Materials
- Boiled potato – 7
- Arrowroot powder – 4 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Red Chili Flakes – 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
- Red Chili Powder
- Clarified Butter – 2 tsp
- Curd
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Red Chili Powder
- Hing-Jeera Powder
- Black Salt
- Chaat Masala – 1 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili
- Sev
- Chopped Coriander
For Green Chutney
- Coriander
- Green Chilli – 2 to 3
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Cumin Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 2 pinch
- Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Curd – 1 tbsp
- Water
For Tamarind Chutney
- Tamarind – 3 tbsp
- Crushed Jaggery – 4tbsp
- Water – 3/4 cup
- Black Salt 1/4 tsp
- Salt
- Red Chili Powder
- Cumin Powder Jeera
- Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- To make the amazing Aloo Vada Chaat, take six boiled & cooled potatoes.
- Next step – one by one, press all potatoes with your hands and flatten all potatoes.
- Next step – take a bowl, add 4 tbsp of Arrowroot powder, salt per taste, 1 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp of chaat masala, 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, red chilli powder, and mix everything well.
- Next step – add water in batches and make a medium-thick batter.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 2 tsp of ghee, and heat well.
- Next step – dip the flattened potatoes into the prepared batter and place them into the pan.
- Next step – after roasting for some time, flip the all Tikkies and roast on both sides until golden & crispy.
- After the Tikkies turn golden & crispy, transfer them to a plate and roast the next batch.
- Next step – Take a grinding jar, add a handful of coriander, 2-3 green chilies, 1 inch of ginger, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, and two pinch of asafoetida.
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of chaat masala, 1 tbsp of curd, little water and grind well.
- To make the perfect Tamarind chutney, take a pan, add 2 tbsp of seedless tamarind, 4 tbsp of jaggery, and little water.
- Next step – place the pan on flame, and boil well.
- After a boil, turn off the flame, and strain the chutney into a bowl.
- Next step – add 1/4 tsp of black salt, regular salt, red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and 1/4 tsp of garam masala and mix everything well.
- Now your Instant & perfect Tamarind chutney is completely ready.
- Next step – take fresh curd and whisk well with the help of a whisker.
- Next step – add 2 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of salt and mix well.
- Next step – serve prepared Aloo Vada into a plate and add whisked curd, tamarind chutney & green chutney.
- Next step – sprinkle red chilli powder, Hind-jeera powder, black salt, chaat masala, chopped green chilli, Sev, and chopped coriander.
