Materials
- Potato – 1 kg
- Peanut
- Cashew nut
- Curry Leaves
- Rock Salt – 2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat Masala
- Black Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Oil
Instructions
- To make the perfect Aloo Lachha Namkeen, take 1 kg of solid potato, wash and peel it, and keep the potatoes in water.
- Now cut the potatoes into slices with the help of a chip slicer.
- Now take 5–6 potato slices and cut them into thin slices with the help of slices like the following image.
- Second Option: You can try using the big-sized grater to grate the potato.
- Now wash the Aloo Lachha multiple times with water until the water turns translucent.
- Now transfer the Aloo Lachha into a bowl, add water, and leave it for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, drain the water, transfer the Aloo Lachha onto a towel or cloth, and gently rub it to remove the water.
- Now place a kadhai on the flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add the Aloo Lachha to the oil and fry on medium heat.
- After the Aloo Lachha turns golden and crispy, transfer the Aloo Lachha to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now, add 1/4 cup of peanuts to the hot oil and fry well.
- After the peanuts turn golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Now, one by one, fry the cashew and curry leaves.
- To make the Aloo Lachha Chiwda Namkeen, add 2 tsp of rock salt, 1 tsp of black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin powder, and 2 tsp of sugar, and mix everything well.
- Now add 1/2 portion of roasted Aloo Lachha, roasted peanuts, roasted cashews, and curry leaves, and mix everything well.

- To make the perfect Masala Aloo Lachha Namkeen, take a bowl, add 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of chaat masala, 1/2 tsp of black salt, and mix well.
