  • Dry Red Chilli – 5
  • Pepper Corns – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Seeds -1 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
  • Wheat Flour – 1 cup
  • Semolina/Sooji/Rava – 1/2 cup
  • Gram Flour/Besan – 2 tbsp
  • Carom Seeds/Ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Kasuri Methi – 1 tsp
  • Salt as per taste Oil – 4 tbsp
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying

Materials

  • 5 Dry Red Chilli
  • 1 tsp Pepper Corns
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Seeds
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Asafoetoda
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Semolina/Sooji/Rava
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour/Besan
  • 1 tsp Carom Seeds/Ajwain
  • 1 tsp Kasuri Methi
  • 1 Salt as per taste
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • Water as required
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • To Make Roll Cone, Mathri first takes a grinding jar.
  • Now, into the grinding jar, add five dry red chillies, 1 tsp of peppercorns, 1 tbsp of coriander seeds, 1 tsp of cumin, and 1 tsp asafoetida.
  • Now grind everything well and make a fine powder.
  • Now, take a wide bowl and add 1 cup of wheat flour, 1/2 cup of fine semolina, 2 tbsp of gram flour, 1 tsp of asafoetida.
  • Now add prepared Masala, 1 tsp of Kasuri methi, salt as per taste, and 4 tbsp of oil.
  • Now mix everything well and holds shape, and check the oil is ideally added.
  • Now add water as required and prepare a semi-hard dough.
  • Now cover it and let it rest for ten minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, check the dough and knead the dough again.
  • Now, roll the dough on a platform and cut it into two pieces.
  • Now, take a part of the dough and roll it to medium thickness.
  • Now, cut it into a round shape to help a small bowl and remove the excess water.
  • Now, prick holes with the help of a fork.
  • Now take a puri and cut a half line on it with a knife.
  • Now roll the puri into a cone.
  • Now, add some water to the edge of the puri.
  • Now press and close the cone well and prepare the cone from all puri.
  • Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for frying and heat well.
  • Now add prepared roll cone into oil one by one and fry until golden and crisp.
  • After the Roll cone, Mathri turned to Golden, then transfer them into a plate and fry the second batch of toll cone Mathri.
  • Now your Roll cone Mathri is entirely ready, and you can enjoy them store them in an airtight box for a month.
