  • Ginger – 1.5 inch
  • Garlic (Lahsun) – 8 to 10
  • Chopped Onion – 1
  • Black Peppercorns – 5 to 6
  • Clove – 4
  • Cinnamon Stick – 2
  • Chopped Beetroot – 5 to 6 pieces
  • Fresh Red Chilli- 5 pcs
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Suger – 225 gms
  • Vinegar – 1 cup

Materials

  • Tomato – 1.5 kg
  • Ginger – 1.5 inch
  • Garlic (Lahsun) – 8 to 10
  • Chopped Onion – 1
  • Black Peppercorns – 5 to 6
  • Clove – 4
  • Cinnamon Stick – 2
  • Chopped Beetroot – 5 to 6 pieces
  • Fresh Red Chilli- 5 pcs
  • Salt – 2 tsp
  • Kashmiri Red chilly powder – 1 tsp
  • Suger – 225 gms
  • Vinegar – 1 cup

Instructions

  • To make the perfect Tomato Sauce, take 1.5 Kg of Red & ripped tomatoes and wash them well.
  • Next step – cut & remove the top portion of tomatoes and cut them into small pieces.
  • Next step – take a Kadhai and add all tomato pieces to it.
  • Next step – add 1.5 inches of ginger, 8-10 garlic cloves, one chopped onion, 5-6 peppercorns, four cloves, & 2 cinnamon sticks.
  • Next step – add 5-6 pieces of beetroot, five fresh red chillies & 3-4 tbsp of water.
  • Next step – place a Kadhai on low flame, and cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes with the closed lid.
  • After 20-25 minutes, turn off the flame and remove the cinnamon stick, peppercorns, & cloves from the Sauce mixture.
  • After the Sauce Mixture turns cool, add it into a grinding jar and make a fine paste.
  • Next step – filter the paste using a strainer.
  • Next step – place a pan on flame, add prepared sauce, 2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, and mix well.
  • Next step – add 225 grams of sugar and mix well.
  • Next step – add 1 cup of white vinegar and cook well for 25-30 minutes.
  • After 25-30 minutes, drop a little sauce on a plate and tilt the plate; If the sauce doesn’t come down, then this means the sauce consistency is perfect.
  • After the sauce consistency is perfect, turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
  • Next step – fill the prepared sauce in a glass bottle, and you can keep it for 1-1.5 months(in the fridge).
