Soyabean Aloo Ki Sabji Recipe | How to make Soyabean Aloo Sabji at Home | Soyabean Sabji
Materials
- Soyabean – 1.5 cup
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil – 3 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Black Pepper – 5 to 6
- Cardamom – 2
- Clove – 2 to 3
- Cinnamon Stick – 1
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 4
- Garlic
- Grated Ginger – 1 inch
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tbsp
- Coriander Powder – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Chopped Potato – 2
- Water – 2 cup
- Salt as per Taste
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Chaat Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Coriander
- Green Chilli
Instructions
- To make the amazing Soyabean Aloo Sabji, place a pan on flame, add 2 cups of water, and boil.
- After the water starts boiling, add 1 tsp of salt, 1.5 cups of soya chunks and boil well for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, turn off the flame, drain the excess water, and gently squeeze the soya chunks.
- Next step – place a cooker on flame, add 3 tbsp of oil, and heat well
- After the oil is hot, add soya chunks, and roast a little.
- After roasting a little, transfer the roasted Soya chunks to a plate.
- Next step – add 2 tsp of oil into the cooker and heat well.
- Next step – add one bay leaf, 5-6 peppercorns, two cardamoms, 2-3 cloves, one cinnamon stick, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, and roast a little.
- Next step – add four roughly chopped onions, 6-7 garlic cloves, and roast well on medium to high flame.
- Next step – add 1 inch of grated ginger, and roast everything well.
- After the onion turns a little golden, add 2 tbsp of Kashmiri red chili powder, 1 tbsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, and 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and mix everything well on low flame.
- After roasting well, add 1/2 cup of water, and mix well.
- Next step – close the lid and cook on medium flame until two whistles.
- After two whistles, remove the lid and mash the gravy well.
- Next step – add two roughly chopped potatoes, mix well and roast for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, add roasted soya chunks and mix well.
- Next step – add 2 cups of hot water, salt per taste, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1 tsp of Kasoori methi, 1/2 tsp of chaat masala, and mix everything well.
- Next step – close the lid and cook well until two whistles on medium flame and after two whistles for 20 seconds more on low flame.
- Next step – turn off the flame and check the Sabji once the pressure is released.
- Next step – add chopped coriander, two split green chilies, and mix well.
