Ingredients of Suji Gulab Jamun Recipe

  • Sugar – 1.5 cup(300 gms)
  • Semolina/Sooji – 1 cup (160 gms)
  • Water – 1.5 cup
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Saffron Strands – 1 pinch
  • Ghee – 1 tbsp
  • Milk – 2 cups (1/2 ltr)
  • Cooking Oil/Ghee for frying

Materials

  • 1.5 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Semolina/Sooji
  • 1.5 cup Water 
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder 
  • 1 pinch Saffron Strands
  • 1 tsp Ghee 
  • 2 cups Milk 
  • Cooking Oil/Ghee for frying

Instructions

  • To make Soft and delicious Suji Gulab Jamun First place a pan on flame and add 1.5 cups of sugar and 1.5 cups of water to it.
  • Now melt the sugar on medium flame.
  •  While Sugar is melting add 1 pinch of saffron and 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder.
  • Boil the syrup until it turns sticky.
  • Now turn off the flame and close the lid and keep it aside.
  • Now place a Kadhai on flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee to it and spread ghee on all sides.
  • Now add 1/2 liter of milk to the pan and boil on medium flame.
  •  While Milk is boiling add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
  •  After the milk starts boiling then turn the flame on low and add 1 cup of semolina in batches to it and mix well and prepare a smooth dough.
  • Now turn off the flame and do not overcook.
  •  Now take a plate and grease it with ghee and transfer dought to it and cool it a little.
  • Now add 1 tsp of ghee and knead well until soft dough.
  • Now transfer the dough to a bowl and cover it.
  • Now place a pan on flame and add oil/Ghee for deep frying.
  • Now take a small ball size mix and prepare gulab jamun and close the lid while making gulab jamun.
  • While oil is hot( Not too much hot) add prepared gulab jamun to it and fry on medium flame.
  •  Now rotate all gulab jamun with a spoon and fry until golden.
  • Now take out all gulab jamun and transfer them into the sugar syrup.
  •  Now turn on flame and boil sugar syrup for 2 minutes.
  •  Now follow the same steps and fry all gulab jamun and transfer them into the hot sugar syrup.
  • Now your Delicious Suji Gulab Jamun is ready and you can enjoy them.
