Materials
- Wheat flour – 2-2.5 cups
- Gram flour – 2 tbsp
- Salt – 1.5 tsp
- Crushed carom seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Red Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Pepper powder
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Onion
- Chopped Green chilli
- Chopped Coriander
- Water as required
- Oil
Instructions
- To make the tastiest and perfect Sindhi Koki, take a wide plate, and add 2-2.5 cups of wheat flour and 2 tbsp of gram flour.
- Next step – add 1.5 tsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of crushed carom seeds, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, pepper powder, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 tbsp of ghee, and mix everything well.
- Next step – add finely chopped onion, chopped green chilli, and fresh coriander, and mix well.
- Next step – add water as required and prepare a stiff dough.
- Next step – one by one, prepare small balls with the prepared dough.
- Next step – place a heavy base Tawa on flame, place all dough balls on the Tawa, and roast on both sides.
- After 1-1.5 minutes, take out from the Tawa.
- Next step – take a ball and gently roll it into a medium-thick roti.
- Next step – place the prepared Roti on the Tawa and roast (Roasting a Koki will take you 6-7 minutes).
- After roasting for some time, apply ghee on the Koki and roast well on both sides.
- After the Koki turns golden, turn off the flame, transfer the roasted Koki to a plate, and roast the next Koki.
