Shahi Tukda Recipe | How to make Shahi Tukda at Home | Shahi Tukda Original Recipe
Materials
- 8 pcs Bread
- Ghee for frying
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 pinch Saffron Strands
- 2 pinch Kesar Food Color
- 3 drops Lemon Juice
- 1 ltr Milk
- 1.5 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1/2 cup Milk Powder
- Dry Fruits for Garnishing
- Tutti Frutti
Instructions
- To make a Perfect Shahi Tukda, first take any deep tray.
- Now take eight pcs of bread.
- Now, place all bread into the tray, make two layers of bread, and cut them if they don’t fit in the tray.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add ghee/oil to it and heat well.
- Now, take out bread from the container and After the ghee is hot, add bread into it and fry on medium flame until golden crisp.
- After the bread turns golden, take out the bread onto a plate and fry the next bread.
- Now, place another pan on flame and add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water.
- Now melt the sugar until it turns a little sticky.
- After sugar melts, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, one pinch of saffron strands, two pinch saffron food colour and mix well.
- Now add three drops of lemon juice and mix well.
- Now check the syrup consistency if it feels oily, then this is cooked perfectly and turn off the flame.
- Now again, take a tray.
- Now, one by one, dip the fried bread into sugar syrup, then place them into the tray and make two layers and add the remaining sugar syrup on top.
- Now, keep the container aside.
- Now, take a pan and add 1 litre of milk and 4 tbsp of sugar.
- Now, take 1.5 tbsp of cornflour (Alternatively, use arrowroot powder) and add little milk to it and mix well.
- Now add cornflour into milk and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 cup of milk powder and mix well.
- Now place the pan on flame and stir continuously and cook until mixed form coating on the spatula.
- After milk starts coating on the spatula, turn off the flame, pour the hot cream into the bread, and spread well.
- Now garnish it with chopped pistachio, almonds and tutti frutti.
- Now let it set for 1-2 hours.
- After 1-2 hours, check the Your Shahi Tukda and garnish it with silver vark.
- Now add hot ghee and your Shahi Tukda is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
