Sabudana Khichdi Recipe | How to make Sabudana Khichdi | Sago Khichdi Recipe
Materials
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 2 tbsp Peanuts
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Chopped Green Chilli
- 1/2 inch Chopped Ginger
- Curry Leaves
- 1 Tomato
- 1 Boiled Potato
- 1 tsp Rock salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
- 3 tsp Peanut Powder
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
Instructions
- To make Sabudana Khichdi first of all take 1 cup of sabudana/Sago.
- Now wash sabudana 3 to 4 times well with water and remove excess water.
- Now add 1 cup of water to sabudana and soak 30 minutes( Do not soak more than 30 minutes).
- Now after 3o minutes check sabudana and again add 3 tbsp of water and soak for 2 Hours.
- Now after 2 Hour check sabudana and they will become perfect for our testy khichdi to check it puffed it with hand.
- Now put a Kadhai on gas on medium flame and add 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Now add 2 tbsp of peanuts and fry on medium flame.
- Now take it out in a plate and keep it aside.
- Now in the same kadhai, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds and after 30 seconds add 2 green chilies, 1/2 inch of chopped ginger, and some curry leaves and saute well.
- Now add 1 finely chopped tomato and fry well.
- After 2 Minutes add 1 chopped boiled potato and mix well and roast.
- Now add soaked sabudana, 1 tsp of rock salt, 1tsp of pepper powder, and mix everything well.
- Now add 3 tsp of peanut powder, add fried peanuts and finely chopped coriander, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and mix well.
- Now put a lid on the kadhai and cook for 1 minute.
- Now transfer it into a plate and garnish it with Pomegranate seeds.
- Now your testy sabudana khichdi is ready and you can enjoy it.
