Rava Mathri Recipe | How to make Rava Mathri at Home| Sooji Mathri Recipe
Materials
- Handful mint leaves
- 2 pcs Green chilli
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 2 pinch Hing
- 1/2 tsp Black Salt
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Salt (as per taste)
- 2 tsp Chaat Masala
- 2 tbsp Water
- 200 grams Sooji
- 2 tbsp Wheat Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt(as per taste)
- 1 tbsp White Sesame Seed
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 spoon Hot Oil
Instructions
- To make perfect and crispy Rava Mathri, first take a grinding jar and add a handful of fresh mint.
- Now add two pcs of green chilli, 1/2 inch ginger, two pinch asafoetida, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1/2 tsp of cumin, 1/2 tsp of salt, 2 tsp of chaat masala.
- Now add 2 tbsp of water and grind well and make a fine paste.
- Now transfer the paste into a bowl.
- Now, in the mint paste bowl, add 200 grams of semolina, 2 tbsp of wheat flour, 1/2 tsp of salt, 1 tbsp of white sesame seeds, 2 tbsp of oil and mix everything well.
- Now add water as required and knead well and prepare a stiff dough.
- Now, keep the dough aside and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check the dough.
- Now, a small pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- Now add hot oil over the dough and let it a little cool.
- After the dough turns a little cool, knead well again.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
- Now roll the dough on a platform to a medium thickness.
- Now, cut it into small squire pieces.
- Now add Mathri pieces into hot oil and fry well on low, medium flame.
- After Mathri turns golden, transfer it to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Rava Mthri is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
