  • Water – 500 ml
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Spinach Leaves
  • Green Chilly – 2 pcs
  • Roughly chopped Ginger – 1 inch
  • Garlic – 5 pcs
  • Coriander Seeds – 2 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds – 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1 pinch
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 cup
  • Carom Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1/2 tsp
  • Semolina – 2 tbsp
  • Gram Flour- 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Water as required

Materials

  • 500 ML Water 
  • 1 tsp Salt 
  • Spinach Leaves
  • 2 pcs Green Chilly
  • 1 Inch Roughly chopped Ginger
  • 5 pcs Garlic 
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds 
  • 1 tsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1 tsp Asafoetida 
  • 1.5 cup Wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala 
  • 1/2 tsp Salt 
  • 2 tbsp Semolina 
  • 1 tsp Gram Flour
  • 1 tsp Oil 
  • Water as required

Instructions

  • To make the Perfect Palak Puri, place a pan on flame, add water and boil on medium flame.
  • After the water starts boiling, add 1 tsp of salt, washed-spinach and cook for 1 minute with a closed lid.
  • After 1 to 1.30 minutes, turns off the flame and strain the water and let it cool.
  • Now take a grinding jar, add bleached spinach, two chopped green chilli, 1 inch of ginger, and five garlic cloves.
  • Now add 2 tsp of coriander seeds, 1 tsp of fennel seeds, one pinch of asafoetida.
  • Now grind everything well and make a fine paste.
  • Now, take a wide bowl and add 1.5 cups of wheat flour to it.
  • Now add prepared Spinach paste, 1/2 tsp of carom seed, 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of salt.
  • Now add 2 tbsp of semolina, 1 tsp of gram flour, and mix everything well.
  • Now add 1 tsp of oil, knead everything well and prepare a hard dough(add water if required).
  • Now, apply oil to the dough and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Now, place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
  • After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead well one more time.
  • Now, one by one, take small portion of dough and prepare the round balls with them.
  • Now, take one ball and roll it to medium thickness.
  • Now add rolled dough into hot oil and fry well until golden.
  • After the Puri turns golden and crispy, transfer it to a plate and fry the next Puri.
  • Now your Perfect Palak Puri is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
