  • Semolina (Sooji) – 2 tbsp
  • Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 2 pinch
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp

Materials

  • Clarified butter (Ghee) – 1/2 cup
  • Sugar Powder – 3/4 cup
  • All-Purpose flour – 1 cup
  • Gram Flour – 2 tbsp
  • Semolina (Sooji) – 2 tbsp
  • Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 2 pinch
  • Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  • To make amazing bakery-style Nankhatai Biscuits, first take a bowl and add 1/2 cup of ghee(room temperature).
  • Now add 3/4 cup of sugar powder and whisk well with the help of a whisker for 5 minutes until it turns creamy.
  • Now, place a heavy base kadhai on flame and place a stand into it.
  • Now, close the lid and preheat it for 8 minutes on medium flame.
  • Now, place a whisker in the bowl and add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp of gram flour, 2 tbsp of semolina, 1/2 tsp of baking powder.
  • Now filter all ingredients into the bowl to avoid lumps.
  • Now add 2 pinch salt, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder, gently mix everything well, and prepare a semi-soft dough.
  • Now, take a steel plate, wrap foil paper, and grease it with ghee.
  • Now, take medium size dough and prepare a round Nankhatai.
  • Now, prepare the Same size Nankhatai with the remaining dough, place them into the plate, and keep a distance.
  • Now garnish all Nankhatai with chopped pistachio and almonds.
  • After 8 minutes, check, remove the lid and place Nankhatai Plate into the pan.
  • Now, close the lid, cook on low flame for 15-20 minutes, and check the cake in between.

  • Now place prepared Nankhatai on it and garnish with pistachio and almonds.

  • After 10 minutes, place the tray into the oven and bake at 170 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, check the Kadhai Nankhatai and if they are baked perfectly, take out the Nankhatai plate and let it cool.
  • After 15 minutes, check the Oven Nankhatai, take out the tray from the oven, and let it cool.
  • Now your Perfect Nankhatai is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
