  • Green gram/Moong Dal – 1 Cup 
  • Bengal gram/Chana dal – 1/4 cup 
  • Asafoetida/Hing – 2 pinch 
  • Salt as per Taste 
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp 
  • Cumin Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Paneer – 200 grams 
  • Chopped Carrot – 4 tbsp 
  • Chopped Capsicum – 3 to 4 tbsp 
  • Chopped Onion – 3 to 4 tbsp 
  • Chopped Green chilli – 3 to 4 
  • Grated Ginger – 2 tbsp 
  • Chopped Coriander
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt as per Taste 

Instructions

  • To make the amazing Stuffed Cheela, take a bowl and add 1 cup of Moong Dal, & 1/4 cup of chana dal.
  • Next step – wash both dal and remove the excess water.
  • Next step – soak the moong dal & chana dal for 1/2 hour in hot water.
  • Next step – take 200 grams of cheese and grate it with the help of a grater.
  • Next step – add 4 tbsp of chopped carrot, 3-4 tbsp of chopped capsicum, and 3-4 tbsp of chopped onion.
  • Next step – add 3-4 chopped green chilli, 2 tbsp of grated ginger, and 2 tbsp of chopped coriander, and mix everything well.
  • Next step – add 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, salt as per taste, and mix well.
  • After 30 minutes, check the Dal and remove the excess water.
  • Next step – grind the soaked dal with the help of a grinder and make a smooth paste.
  • Into batter, add 1 tbsp of semolina, two pinch asafoetida, salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, and mix everything well.
  • Next step – place a Tawa on flame, add two ladle full of batter, and spread well in the clockwise direction.
  • Next step – add prepared stuffing and spread on top of the Cheela.
  • Next step – add 1 tbsp of ghee on the top of the Cheela.
  • After some time, flip the Cheela and roast well until golden.
  • After the Cheela turns golden, sprinkle chaat masala, roll the Cheela and transfer it to a plate.
  • Now your amazing Stuffed Cheela is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
