Materials
- Fenugreek seeds – 100 gm
- Milk – 1 cup
- Fox Nut – 50 gm
- Almonds – 1/4 cup
- Cashew nut – 1/4 cup
- Pistachio – 2 tbsp
- Watermelon seeds – 1 tbsp
- Chironji – 2 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut – 100 gm
- Clarified Butter – 10 tbsp
- Edible Gum – 1/2 cup
- Wheat flour – 200 gm
- Poppy Seeds – 2 tbsp
- Crushed Jaggery -450 gm
- Dried Ginger Powder – 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Nutmeg – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
- Chopped Pistachio
Instructions
- To make the tastiest Methi Ke Ladoo, take 100 grams of Methi Dana (Fenugreek seeds).
- Next step – take a grinding jar, add Methi Dana and make a fine powder.
- Next step – take a bowl, add Methi Dana Powder and one cup of milk, mix well and soak it for 3-4 hours.
- Next step – take 40 grams of foxnut, 1/4 cup of almonds, 1/4 cup of cashew nut, 2 tbsp of pistachio, 1 tbsp of watermelon seeds, 2 tbsp of Chironji, and 100 grams of Desiccated Coconut.
- Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add desiccated coconut, and roast well on low flame.
- After 1-1.5 minutes, transfer roasted coconut to a plate.
- Next step – add 1 tbsp of ghee into Kadhai and melt well.
- After the ghee melts, add cashew, almonds & pistachio and roast well on low flame.
- After the dry fruit’s colour changes, transfer the roasted dry fruits to a plate.
- Next step – add foxnut and melon seeds into Kadhai and roast a little.
- After some seconds, turn off the flame and transfer foxnut & melon seeds to a plate.
- Next step – again place the Kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee and melt.
- After the ghee melts, add 1/2 cup of edible gum in batches and roast well.
- After some time, turn off the flame and transfer the roasted Edible Gum to a plate.
- Next step – take a grinding jar, add roasted dry fruits and make a coarse powder.
- Next step – mash the roasted edible gum with the help of a potato masher.
- Next step – place the Kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
- After the ghee melts, add soaked Methi Dana mix and roast well.
- After the methi Dana Mix turns a little darker, turn off the flame and transfer it into a bowl.
- Next step – place the Kadhai on flame, add 3 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
- After the ghee melts, add 4 tbsp of gram flour and roast well for 1 minute.
- After 1 minute, add 200 grams of wheat flour and roast well on low flame.
- After the mix releases the ghee, add 2 tbsp of Chironji, & 2 tbsp of poppy seeds and mix well.
- After the mixture turns little dark, turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate.
- Next step – take a big bowl, add roasted cardamom powder, dry fruit powder, edible gum powder, Methi Dana Mixture, and wheat flour Mixture, and mix everything well.
- Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add 450 grams of crushed jaggery, and 1 tbsp of ghee, and melt the jagger on medium flame.
- After the jaggery melts, add 1 tsp of dry ginger powder, 1 tbsp of cardamom powder, 1/2 tsp of grated nutmeg, and 1 tsp of pepper powder, and mix everything well.
- Next step – turn off the flame, add melted jaggery & chopped pistachio into the Ladoo mixture and mix well.
- While the Ladoo mixture is medium hot, prepare Ladoo’s with the mixture.
- Now your perfect Methi Ke Ladoo are completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
