  • Water – 1.5 glass
  • Garlic (Lahsun) – 7 to 8
  • Ginger (Adarak) – 1.5 inch
  • Green Chili – 3 to 4
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds (Jeera) – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida/Hing- 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds(Saunph) – 1 tsp
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 cup
  • Gram flour – 3 tbsp
  • Semolina – 2 tbsp
  • Carom Seed/Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
  • Clarified Butter/Ghee – 1 tbsp

Materials

  • Spinach – 200 grams
  • Water – 1.5 glass
  • Garlic (Lahsun) – 7 to 8
  • Ginger (Adarak) – 1.5 inch
  • Green Chili – 3 to 4
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds (Jeera) – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida/Hing- 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
  • Fennel seeds(Saunph) – 1 tsp
  • Wheat flour – 1.5 cup
  • Gram flour – 3 tbsp
  • Semolina – 2 tbsp
  • Carom Seed/Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
  • Clarified Butter/Ghee – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • To make Masala Palak Poori, first take 200 grams of palak, wash it, and cut the stem.
  • Now place a Kadhai on Flame and 1.5 glass of water and heat.
  • After Water starts boiling, add 1 tsp of salt and add spinach leaves and blech for 1.5 minutes.
  • Now turn off the flame, strain the water, and let it cool.
  • Now, take a grinding jar and add bleached Palak.
  • Now add 7-8 garlic cloves, 1.5-inch ginger, 3-4 green chilies, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, green coriander, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
  • Now grind everything well and make a fine paste.
  • Now, take a wide bowl and add 1.5 cups of wheat flour, 3 tbsp of gram flour, 2 tbsp of semolina, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds.
  • Now add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix everything well.
  • Now prepared palak mix into the bowl, mix well, and prepare a stiff dough.
  • Now coat the dough with ghee and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, check the dough and make small balls.
  • Now, take one ball and roll it on a platform like poori.
  • Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for frying and heat well.
  • After hot oil, add prepared poori into the pan and fry well on both sides.
  • After poori turns golden and crispy, transfer it to a plate and fry the next poori.
  • Now your Masala Palak Poori is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
