  • Chopped Pistachio – 2 tbsp 
  • Milk – 1 ltr
  • Soaked Sabudana – 1/3 cup
  • Fresh milk cream – 4 tbsp
  • Cashew nut powder – 2 tbsp 
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Green food colour (optional)

  • Fresh Luaki (Bottle Gourd)- 500 gram
  • Ghee – 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Almonds – 2 tbsp
  • Cashew nut – 2 tbsp
  • Chopped Pistachio – 2 tbsp 
  • Milk – 1 ltr
  • Soaked Sabudana – 1/3 cup
  • Fresh milk cream – 4 tbsp
  • Cashew nut powder – 2 tbsp 
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Green food colour (optional)

Instructions

  • To make the most amazing Lauki Ki Kheer, take 500 grams of Green Lauki/Bottle gourd.
  • Next step – wash and peel the Lauki.
  • Next step – Cut the Lauki, remove the middle seed portion and keep it in water.
  • Next step – grate the Lauki with the help of medium size Grater.
  • Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
  • After the ghee melts, add 2 tbsp of chopped almonds, 2 tbsp of chopped cashew, and 2 tbsp of pistachio, and roast a little.
  • After some time, transfer the roasted dry fruits to a plate.
  • Next step – add grated Lauki into remaining ghee and roast well on medium flame.
  • After the Lauki turns a little soft, add 1 liter of milk, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • After the Kheer mixture turns a little thick, add 1/3 cup of soaked Sabudana (sago), mix well and cook on low flame.
  • Next step – take a bowl, add 4 tbsp of Milk Malai & 2 tbsp of cashew powder and mix well.
  • Next step – add 1 cup of sugar into Kheer and mix well.
  • Next step – add prepared Cashew Mixture into Kheer and mix well.
  • After the Kheer turns thick, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and fried dry fruits and mix well.
  • Next step – add one pinch of green food colour and mix well.
  • Next step – turn off the flame, transfer the Kheer to a bowl and let it cool in the fridge for 2 hours.
