Materials
- Flattened Rice/ Poha – 1 cup
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Nigella Seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Chilli Flakes – 1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 2 pinch
- Gram Flour – 1/2 cup
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
- Amchoor Powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make the amazing Poha Nasta, take 1 cup of flattened rice/Poha, wash it well, and soak it for 5 minutes.
- Now place a pan on flame, add 1 tablespoon of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of Nigella seeds, 1/5 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of chili flakes, 2 pinches of turmeric powder, and 1/2 cup of gram flour and roast everything on low flame.
- After some time, 1 tbsp of Kasoori methi and roast well.
- After roasting well, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Now transfer the soaked Poha into a wide plate.
- Now add besan mix, salt as per taste, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, and 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder, and mix everything well.
- Now, one by one, prepare small balls with the dough and roll them like the following image.
- Now prick the all-rolled pieces.
- Now place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After hot oil, add the prepared Poha pooris and fry well on low flame.
- After the Poha pooris turn golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your perfect Poha Nasta is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
