  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch

For Chana Dal Chutney

  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Channa Dal – 1/4cup
  • Curry Leaves – 4-5
  • Garlic – 5 cloves
  • Grated Ginger – 1/2 tsp
  • Dry Red Chillies – 4
  • Oil – 1 tsp
  • Mustard Seeds – 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Urad Dal – 1/4 tsp
  • Curry Leaves

Instructions

  • To make the perfect Hari Mirch Suji Idli, take a grinding jar, add 1 cup of green peas, 1 inch of ginger, two green chillies, and 2 tbsp of coriander.
  • Next step – add 2 tbsp of water, grind well and make a fine paste.
  • Next step – take a bowl, add prepared Matar Paste, 1 cup of semolina, 1 cup of curd, 1 tsp of oil, and salt as per taste, and whisk everything well.
  • Next step – keep the batter aside and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Next step – take small plates and grease them with oil.
  • Next step – place a small pan on flame, add 1.5 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds, 1 tsp of black gram, and curry leaves and mix well.
  • Next step – pour the prepared tempering on the batter, and mix well.
  • Next step – add a sachet of Eno fruit salt, little water and mix well.
  • Next step – fill the prepared batter into a greased plate and place all small plates into a big plate.
  • Next step – place a kadhai on flame, add water, close the lid and boil.
  • After the water starts boiling, remove the lid and place the Idli Plate on the Kadhai.
  • Next step – close the lid and steam the Idli for 12-14 minutes on medium flame.
  • After 12-14 minutes, check your Idli with the help of a toothpick.

Instant Chana Dal Chutney

  • To make the Perfect Instant Chana Dal Chutney, place a Kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add 1/4 cup of chana dal and roast well until golden.
  • After the chana dal turns golden, add 4-5 curry leaves, five garlic cloves and 1/2 tsp of grated ginger, and roast a little.
  • After some seconds, add four dry red chillies, and saute well.
  • Next step – turn off the flame and let it cool.
  • Next step – add chutney mixture, salt as per taste, little water into a grinding jar and make a fine paste.
  • Next step – place a small pan on flame, add 1 tsp of oil, and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add 1/4 tsp of mustard seeds, two pinch asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of urad dal, and some curry leaves.
  • After some seconds, turn off the flame and pour the prepared tempering on the Chutney.
  • Now your Perfect Chana Dal Chutney is ready, and you can enjoy it with Hari Matar Rava Idli.
