Materials
- Green peas – 1 cup
- Garlic Green chilli – 2 to 3
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Coriander Water – 4 to 5 tsp
- Wheat flour – 1/2 cup
- Semolina – 1/2 cup
- Rice flour – 4 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Water – 2.5 cups
For Onion Tomato Chutney
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Chickpeas Split – 1 tbsp
- Dried Red Chili – 3
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Garlic – 4 pieces
- Chopped Tomato – 2
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Tamarind Paste – 1 tsp
Instructions
- To make the perfect Green Peas Dosa, take a grinding jar, and add 1 cup of green peas.
- Next step – add 4-5 garlic cloves, 2-3 garlic cloves, 1 inch of ginger, fresh coriander, and 4-5 tbsp of water and make a fine paste.
- Next step – transfer the prepared paste into a bowl.
- Next step – add 1/2 cup of wheat flour, 1/2 cup of semolina, 4 tbsp of rice flour, and salt as per taste.
- Next step – add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds and 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, and mix everything well.
- Next step – add 2.5 cups of water and prepare a buttermilk consistency batter.
- Next step – cover the batter and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, place a tawa on flame, grease it with oil, and heat well.
- After the tawa is hot, pour one ladle full of batter and roast until golden.
- After the Dosa turns dry, add some drops of oil.
- After the Dosa turns golden & crispy, transfer the Dosa to a plate and roast the next Dosa.
Onion Tomato Chutney
- Place a pan on flame, add 2 tsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tbsp of chickpeas split and roast on medium flame.
- After some time, add 2-3 dry red chilli, one roughly chopped onion, and four garlic cloves and saute well until golden.
- After the onion turns a little golden, add two chopped tomatoes, 1 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, and roast well.
- After the tomatoes turn soft, add 1 tsp of tamarind paste and mix well.
- Next step – turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Next step – take a grinding jar, add chutney mixture, little water, and make a fine paste.
- Now your perfect Onion Tomato chutney is completely ready, and you can enjoy it with Green Peas Dosa.
