Ingredients of Gobi Paratha Recipe 

  • Wheat Flour – 2 cups
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil – 2 tsp
  • Cauliflower – 350 gms
  • Grated Ginger – 1 tsp
  • Finely Chopped Green chilli – 1
  • Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
  • Amchur Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Garam Masala – 1/2 tsp
  • Finely chopped coriander

Materials

  • 2 cups Wheat Flour 
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 tsp Oil 
  • 350 grams Cauliflower 
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1 Finely Chopped Green chilli
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Ajwain 
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder 
  • 1/2 tsp Amchur Powder 
  • 2 pinch Asafoetida 
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  • Finely chopped coriander

Instructions

  • To make Gobi Paratha, first take a wide bowl and add 2 cups of wheat flour.
  •  Now add 1/2 tsp of salt as mix well.
  • Now, little by little, add water as required; Mess & knead well and prepare a soft dough.
  • Now add 2 tsp of oil and knead well again.
  • Now cover the dough with a wet cloth, keep the dough aside and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Now, take 350 grams of cauliflower, cut it into small pieces, and wash and drain the water.
  •  Now, take a medium-size grater and grate the cauliflower well.
  • Now take a bowl and place a clothe on it.
  • Now add grated cauliflower to the cloth and squeeze the excess water completely.
  • Now transfer grated cauliflower into a bowl and add 1 tsp of grated ginger, one finely chopped green chilli, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder.
  • Now add two pinches of asafoetida, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, finely chopped coriander.
  • Mix everything well with your hands, and its mix is watery, then add 2 tbsp of roasted gram flour and mix well.
  •  After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead it well again.
  • Now add 1 tsp of salt into the stuffing and mix well.
  • Now pinch a big size dough and prepare a round ball and roll it into flour.
  • Now, spread the dough and prepare a bowl shape.
  • Now fill 1 tbsp of cauliflower mix into it.
  • Now press the mix and close with dough on all sides and remove the excess dough.
  • Now again, dust the dough with flour.
  • Now roll it with the help of a roller pin, prepare paratha, and do not pressure while rolling; move in One Direction.
  • Now place a Tawa on flame and heat well.
  • Now, put the prepared paratha on Tawa and cook on medium flame until the bubble appears.
  • After 1 – 2 minutes, flip the paratha and cook on another side.
  • Now add ghee/ oil and cook on the other side for 1 minute.
  • After 1 minute, turn it to another side and add oil/ghee, press and cook well on medium flame on both sides.
  • Now, take out the paratha on a plate and cook the second paratha.
  • Now, Your perfect Cauliflower paratha is ready, and you can enjoy it.

Gobi Paratha Recipe – Step By Step

1 – To make Gobi Paratha, first take a wide bowl and add 2 cups of wheat flour.

10 – Now transfer grated cauliflower into a bowl and add 1 tsp of grated ginger, one finely chopped green chilli, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of asafoetida, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/2 tsp of dry mango powder.
11 – Now add two pinches of asafoetida, 1/2 tsp of garam masala, finely chopped coriander.
12 – Mix everything well with your hands, and its mix is watery, then add 2 tbsp of roasted gram flour and mix well.

13 – After 15 minutes, check the dough and knead it well again.
14 – Now add 1 tsp of salt into the stuffing and mix well.
15 – Now pinch a big size dough and prepare a round ball and roll it into flour.

17 – Now fill 1 tbsp of cauliflower mix into it.
