Gajar Ki Barfi Recipe | How to make Carrot Burfi at Home | Carrot Burfi Recipe
Materials
- Carrot – 1 kg
- Semolina /Sooji – 1 cup
- Warm Milk – 1 cup
- Sugar – 2 cups
- Milk Powder – 4 tbsp
- Cradamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Instructions
- To make Perfect Gajar Ki Barfi first take 1 kg of Gajar(carrot).
- Now wash & peel the Gajar and cut the Edges, and grate the carrot.
- Now, place a pan on low, medium flame, add 1 cup of Semolina to it, and dry roast until golden and aromatic.
- AfterSemolinaa turns golden, turn off the flame and transfer it to a plate.
- Now into the pan, add 4 tbsp of ghee and melt.
- After the melts, add grates carrot into the pan and mix well and cook.
- After the carrot starts releasing the ghee, turn the flame to low, add 1 cup of warm milk, and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, remove the lid, add 2 cups of sugar, mix well, and cook.
- After sugar starts releasing the water, add roasted semolina into the pan and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
- While cooking the Barfi mix, take a tray and grease it with ghee.
- After 5 minutes, check the Barfi mix and mix well.
- Now add 4 tbsp of milk powder and mix well.
- After the mix starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture to a greased tray, and spread well.
- Now garnish it with chopped dry fruits and let it set for 1 hour.
- After 1 hour, check the Barfi and cut it into pieces.
- Now your Gajar Ki Barfi is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
