Dahi Phulki Recipe | How to make Dahi Phulki at Home | Dahi Fulki Chaat Recipe
Materials
- 1 cup Besan
- 2 Finely Chopped Chilli
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Finely Chopped Onion
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/3 cup Water
- 500 ML Fresh Curd
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Salt
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Paste
- 2 cups Water
- Oil for deep fry
For Tadka-Dahi Phulki Recipe
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 pinch Asafoetida
- 3-4 Red chillies
For garnish -Dahi Phulki Recipe
- Finely Chopped Coriander
- Finely Chopped Onion
- Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- Slices Onion Rings
Instructions
- To make Dahi Phulki chaat, first take a bowl and add 1 cup of gram flour to it.
- Now add two finely chopped green chilli, 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder,1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, one finely chopped onion finely chopped coriander.
- Now add salt as per taste, 1/4 tsp of baking soda and mix everything well.
- Now, little by little, add water, whisk well and prepare a batter.
- To check that batter is perfect, add a small portion of batter into the water: If Better does not sit in water, this means the batter is perfect.
- Now cover the lid and let the batter rest for 7-8 minutes.
- Now, take 500 ml of fresh curd and whisk well with the help of a whisker and make it smoother.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of salt, 1/4 tsp of black salt, 2 tbsp of salt, 1/2 tsp of red chilli flakes, 1/4 tsp of ginger garlic paste and mix well.
- Now add 2 cups of water and mix well and keep it aside.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for deep fry and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, one by one add prepare small balls with batter and drop them into oil and fry.
- After Phulki are roasted little, flip and fry well until golden and crispy.
- After Phulki turns golden, transfer them to a prepared curd and fry the next batch.
- Now, let the Phulki rest for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Now, to serve the Dahi Phulki chaat, take a bowl and add prepared Dahi Phulki into it.
- For Tadka, place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, two pinches of asafoetida, three dry red chillies.
- Now add prepared tadka to the dahi Phulki chaat.
- Now add finely chopped coriander, finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomatoes and onion slice rings.
- Now your Dahi Phulki chaat is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
