  • Dry Coconut – 1
  • Musk Melon Seed – 1/3 cup
  • Almonds – 2 tbsp
  • Poppy Seed – 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom Powder
  • Nutmeg – 1/4 tsp
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar – 2 cup
  • Water – 1 cup

Instructions

  • To make the perfect coconut paag, take a dry coconut and grate it with the help of a medium-sized grater.
  • Next step: place a pan on medium heat, add 1/3 cup of melon seeds, and roast for 1-2 minutes.
  • After 1-2 minutes, turn off the flame and transfer the roasted melon seeds to a plate.
  • Next step: add grated coconut to the pan and roast well for 1-2 minutes.
  • After 1-2 minutes, transfer the roasted coconut to a plate.
  • Next step: add 2 tbsp of almonds and 2 tbsp of poppy seeds and roast well for 1 minute.
  • After 1 minute, turn off the flame and transfer the mixture to a plate.
  • Next step: in a big plate, add roasted coconut, melon seeds, almonds, poppy seeds, cardamom powder, 1/4 tsp of nutmeg, and 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, and mix everything well.
  • Next step: place a pan on the flame, add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water, stir continuously, and melt the sugar.
  • After the sugar consistency becomes one-string consistency, turn the flame to low, add the prepared coconut paag mixture, and mix everything well.
