  • Corn Flour – 1 cup
  • Water – 2 cup
  • Sugar – 2 cups
  • Ghee- 5 tbsp
  • Lemon Juice – 1 tsp
  • Cardamom Powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Food Colour – 1/4 tsp

Materials

  • 1 cup Corn Flour 
  • 2 cup Water 
  • 2 cup Sugar 
  • 5 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice 
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Food Colour 

Instructions

  • To make soft spongy Bombay Karachi Halwa, first take a bowl.
  • Now take 1 cup cornflour in the bowl and put in it, 2 cups water and mix it well and make a batter.
  •  Now take another bowl and put ghee on its surface and also put butter paper on it and also apply ghee on it.
  • Now put a pan on the gas and add 2 cups of sugar and 1 cup of water to it, stir the sugar to get a good consistency.
  • Now the sugar has dissolved well, then turn off the gas.
  • Now slowly add cornflour mix in the pan and stir it.
  • Keep string while mixing the cornflour mixture in it.
  • Now turn on the gas on low flame.
  • Let it run thick while running slowly.
  •  Now when it is thick, then add 1 tbsp. Ghee and stir continuously.
  • Now add 1 tbsp. of ghee in it and mix everything well.
  • After Mixing add 1 tbsp of ghee again and mix everything.
  • Now add 1 tbsp of Lemon juice and mix everything.
  •  After Mixing again add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix everything.
  •  After Mixing everything again add tbsp of ghee and mix everything.
  • Now add 1 tbsp cardamom powder and mix everything.
  • Now add 1/4 tbsp of Orange food color and mix well.
  •  Now you can add any desired dry fruits you want.
  • Now 5 minutes and cook it well until it starts leaving ghee.
  • Now take a freeze bowl and put some dry fruits on its surface.
  • Now transfer all the pudding into the bowl and leave it to sit for 1 to 2 hours.
  • After 1.5 hours later your delicious halwa is ready and now you cut it.

16 – Now add 1 tbsp cardamom powder and mix everything.

18 – Now you can add any desired dry fruits you want.

19 – Now 5 minutes and cook it well until it starts leaving ghee.
20 – Now take a freeze bowl and put some dry fruits on its surface.
21 – Now transfer all the pudding into the bowl and leave it to sit for 1 to 2 hours.
22 – After 1.5 hours later your delicious halwa is ready and now you cut it.
