Materials
- Lady Finger – 500 gm
- Potato – 3
- Mustard oil – 2 tbsp
- Cumin Seed – 1 tsp
- Carom Seed – 1/2 tsp
- Coriander Seed – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1/4 tsp
- Chopped Onion – 2
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Green Chilli – 2 to3
- Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 2 tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
- Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Dry Mango Powder – 1 tsp
- Kasoori Methi
- Garam Masala
- Chopped Coriander
Instructions
- To make the perfect Bhindi Aloo, take 500 grams of Bhindi (lady-finger), wash, and wipe well.
- Now cut the ends and cut into small pieces.
- Now place a pan on the flame, add 2 tablespoons of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, 1 tsp of crushed coriander seeds, and 1/4 tsp of asafoetida, and roast a little.
- After roasting a little, add chopped onion and roast well until pink.
- After the onion turns pink, add 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic and roast well.
- After roasting for some time, add chopped potatoes and roast well.
- Now add green chilies, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt, and mix well.
- Now place a plate on top of the pan, add a little water, and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After 4-5 minutes, remove the lid, add chopped Bhindi, and mix well.
- Now add Kashmiri red chili powder, coriander powder, and cumin powder, mix well, and cook for 2 minutes.
- After two minutes, cover the lid and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- After 4-5 minutes, remove the lid, add salt as per taste, dry mango powder, and Kasoori methi, and mix well.
- Now turn off the flame and garnish it with chopped coriander.
- Now your perfect Bhindi Aloo is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
