Sooji ke Gulab Jamun Recipe | How to make Suji Gulab Jamun | Sooji Gulab Jamun Recipe
Materials
- 1.5 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Semolina/Sooji
- 1.5 cup Water
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1 pinch Saffron Strands
- 1 tsp Ghee
- 2 cups Milk
- Cooking Oil/Ghee for frying
Instructions
- To make perfect Suji Ke Gulab Jamun, First place a pan on flame, add 1.5 cups of sugar and 1.5 cups of water and melt on medium flame.
- After some seconds, add 1 pinch of saffron and 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and boil until it turns sticky.
- After your sugar syrup turns sticky, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Now place a Kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee grease the kadhai on all sides.
- Now add 1/2 liter of milk to the pan and boil on medium flame.
- After some seconds, add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and mix well.
- After the milk starts boiling, turn the flame on low, little by little, add 1 cup of semolina, mix well and prepare a smooth dough.
- After the mix turns thick & starts leaving the pan, turn off the flame and not overcook.
- Now, take a plate and grease it with Ghee and transfer the dough to it and let it a little cool.
- Now add 1 tsp of Ghee and knead the dough until it turns smooth.
- Now, transfer the dough to a bowl and cover it.
- Now place a pan on flame and add oil/Ghee for deep frying and heat well.
- Now, one by one, prepare round gulab jamun with the dough.
- Now add prepared gulab jamun into hot oil and fry on medium flame.
- After gulab jamun turns golden, transfer them into the sugar syrup.
- Now, turn on the flame and boil sugar syrup for 2 minutes.
- Now, follow the same steps, fry all gulab jamun and transfer them into the hot sugar syrup.
- Now your perfect & delicious Sooji Gulab Jamun is ready, and you can enjoy them.
