Materials
Moong Dal Ka Halwa Pre-Mix
- Moong Dal मूंग दाल 300 gm
- Sooji/Rava सूजी – 2 tbsp
- Gram flour /Besan बेसन – 2 tbsp
- Ghee घी – 2 tbsp
- Sugar Powder चीनी पाउडर 1.5 Cup
- Cardamom Powder इलाइची पाउडर – 1/2 tsp
- Saffron/Kesar – केसर
Moong Dal Ka Halwa Recipe
- Instant Moong Dal Halwa pre Mix – 2 Cup
- Pure Ghee शुद्ध देशी घी 1/2 Cup
- Water पानी – 3 Cup
Instructions
- To make Perfect Danedar Moong dal Ka Halwa first we will make Moong dal Halwa Premix and for this, take 300 Grams of moong dal.
- Now wash the Moong Dal with water 2-3 times and remove the excess water.
- Now spread dal on a cotton cloth and clean the water and let it dry.
- Now place a kadhai on flame, add washed dal to a kadhai, and roast well on low, medium flame, and stir continuously.
- After Moond dal turns a slight pink, turn off the flame and let it cool completely.
- Now add moong dal into a grinding jar and grind well and make a coarse powder.
- Now, take a bowl, add 2 tbsp of Semolina and 2 tbsp of gram flour, and mix well.
- Now, place a kadhai on flame, add 2 tbsp of ghee, and heat well.
- After ghee melts, add chopped almonds, chopped Cashew, and roast well until golden.
- After almonds & Cashew turns golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Now into kadhai, add gram flour-semolina mix and roast well on low flame.
- After 30 seconds, add Moong Dal powder and mix well, and roast.
- After the mix is roasted properly, turn off the flame and transfer it to a bowl and let it cool.
- After the Halwa mix is cool, add 1.5 cups of sugar powder, 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder,3/4 cup of milk powder, fried dry fruits, and saffron strands and mix well.
- Now your Moong dal halwa premix is ready, and your can store it for six months in the fridge or 3-4 months outside the fridge.

- To make Instant Moong dal halwa, place a pan on flame, add 1/2 cup of ghee, and melt.
- After ghee melts, add 2 cups of Moong dal halwa Premix, mix well, and roast.
- While roasting the premix, place a pan flame, add 3 cups of water, and heat well.
- After the water is hot little by little, add hot water and mix well.
- Now, close the lid and cook for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, remove the lid and check the halwa.
- Now your Instant Danedar Halwai Style Moong dal Ka Halwa is completely ready, and you can enjoy it.
