Gobi Manchurian Recipe | How to make Gobi Manchurian at Home | Cauliflower Manchurian Recipe
Materials
- Cauliflower/Gobi – 1 (400grams)
- Water – 1 ltr
- Salt – 1 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 3 tbsp
- Corn flour – 3 tbsp
- Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Oil for Frying
For Sauce
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Garlic – 2 tbsp
- Chopped Ginger – 1 inch
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Green chilli
- Black Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt
- Red Chili Powder
- Dark soya sauce – 1 tbsp
- Red chilli sauce – 2 tbsp
- Tomato Ketchup – 3 tbsp
- Water – 1/2 cup
- Corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Water – 3 tbsp
Instructions
- To make Street style Hot & Spicy Veg Gobi Manchurian, first take 400 grams of cauliflower pieces.
- Now place a pan on flame and add 1 liter of water, 1 tsp of salt to it, and boil on medium flame.
- After the hot water, add cauliflower into the water and cook on high flame for 2 minutes until it is cooked 60-65%.
- After 2 minutes, turn off the flame, take out the Gobi to a bowl, and remove the excess water.
- Now, take a bowl and add 3 tbsp of all-purpose flour, 3 tbsp of cornflour, salt per taste, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder.
- Now, little by little, add water and mix well and prepare a thick paste.
- Now add cooked Gobi into prepared paste and coat well.
- Into the bowl, add 1 tbsp of cornflour & 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour, and mix well again.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well on medium flame.
- After the oil is hot, one by one, add coated Gobi pieces into the oil and fry until they turn light golden.
- After the Gobi turns light golden, transfer them into a plate and fry the next batch.
- After frying the Gobi, let them cool completely.
- Once the Gobi is cooled completely, add it into Hot oil and fry for some seconds.
- After some seconds, transfer the Gobi into a plate.
- Now place a kadhai on flame and add 2 tbsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 2 tbsp of chopped garlic, 1 tbsp of chopped ginger, and saute a little on high flame.
- After 30 seconds add, one chopped onion, two chopped green chilies, and roast well on high flame.
- After 1 minute, add two slits of green chilli and roast a little.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, salt as per taste, red chilli powder and mix well, and roast.
- After mixing it, add 1 tbsp of dark soya sauce, 2 tbsp of red chilli sauce, 3 tbsp of tomato ketchup, and mix well.
- Now add chopped spring onion greens and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 cup of water and mix well and cook.
- After some time, little by little, add cornflour slurry( 1 tbsp of corn start & 3 tbsp of water and mix well) and mix well and cook on medium flame.
- Now add fried Gobi into Pan and coat well on all sides.
- Now, turn off the flame and garnish it with spring onion greens.
- Now your Perfect Veg Gobi Manchurian is ready, and you can enjoy it.

Gobi Manchurian Recipe – Step By Step
