Cabbage Pakoda Recipe | How to make Cabbage Pakoda at Home | Cabbage Pakora Recipe
Materials
- 400 grams Cabbage
- 1 Onion
- 2 Chopped Green Chillies
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- 1 tsp Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds/Ajwain
- 1 tsp Crushed Coriander Seeds
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1/2 tsp Coriander Powder
- Salt as per taste
- Chopped Coriander
- 3/4 cup Gram Flour / Besan
- 4 tbsp Rice Flour
- 2 tbsp Hot Oil
- Oil for Frying
For Chutney
- 1 tsp Oil
- 7 Green Chilles
- 1 Chopped Tomato
- 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
- 7 cloves Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Tamarind Paste
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp Roasted Peanut
- 2 tbsp Water
Instructions
- To make Cabbage Pakoda first take 400 Grams of Cabbage.
- Now cut cabbage into long slices wash well with water.
- Now take an onion and cut it into slices.
- Now add sliced onion into the cabbage and mix well.
- Now into Cabbage add 2 chopped green chili, 1 tsp of chopped ginger, 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1/2 tsp of carom seeds, 1 tsp of crushed coriander seeds.
- Now add 1 tsp of red chili flakes, 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder,1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp of coriander powder, salt as per taste.
- Now mix everything well.
- Now add chopped coriander, 3/4 cup of gram flour, 4 tbsp of rice flour and mix everything well, and do not add water.
- Now place a pan on flame and add oil to it and heat well.
- Now take 2 tbsp of hot oil from the pan and add into Pakoda mix and mix well.
- Now take small parts of mix and add into hot oil and fry.
- After some time turn the flame to low and rotate Pakoda well.
- After Pakoda fried well transfer them to a plate and fry another batch
- Now if you want to make takkies from it then take a small part of the mix and prepare a Tikki from it.
- Now add Tikki into oil and fry well.
- After takkies turn to golden crisp transfer them to a plate.
- Now your Cabbage Pakoda and Cabbage Tikki are Ready.
Chutney Recipe
- To make Street Style chutney place a pan on flame and add 1 tbsp of oil to it and heat.
- Now add 6 to 7 green chilli, 1 chopped tomato, and fry a little on low flame.
- Now add 1 tsp of chopped ginger and fry everything well for 2 minutes on low flame.
- Now add 6 to 7 garlic cloves and cook for some time.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp tamarind paste, and roast well.
- Now turn off the flame and let the mix cool.
- Now take a grinding jar and add Prepared mix, and add 1 tbsp of roasted peanuts and add 2 tbsp of water.
- Now grind everything well and prepare a fine paste.
- Now your Street style chutney and Cabbage Pakoda are Ready and you can enjoy them.
