  • Water – 1 cup

  • Wheat flour – 1 cup
  • Gram flour – 1/2 cup
  • Ajwain – 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped ginger – 1/2 inch
  • Water – 1 cup
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  • To make the perfect Wheat flour Papad, take a bowl and add wheat flour, gram flour, and ajwain to it.
  • Now add cumin seeds, asafoetida, chopped ginger, red chilli powder, and salt and mix everything well.
  • Now, add water and prepare a stiff dough little by little.
  • Now, one by one, take a small portion of dough and prepare round dumplings.
  • Now, take one dumpling, coat it with flour and roll it thin.
  • Now prick the rolled papad with the help of a fork.
  • Now, follow the same steps and roll the papad with the remaining dough.
  • Now place a pan on gas, add oil for frying and heat well.
  • After the oil is hot, add rolled papad into the oil and fry well until golden & crispy.
