Sabudana Vada Recipe | How to make Sabudana Vada at Home | Sabudana Breakfast Recipe
Materials
- Sago – 1 cup
- Green chilli 4-5
- Cumin Seed/Jeera – 1 tsp
- Ginger – 1.5 Inch
- Coriander – 1 tbsp
- Boiled Potatoes – 3
- Black Pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Rock Salt/Sendha Namak
- Crushed Roasted Peanut -2 tbsp
- Sago -2 tbsp
- Chopped Coriander
- Oil to shallow fry
Instructions
- To make the amazing Sabudana Vada, take 1 cup of Sabudana.
- Now add Sabudana into a grinding jar and make a fine powder.
- Now transfer the Sabudana Powder to a bowl.
- Now again, take the grinding jar, add 4-5 green chillies, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 1.5 inches of ginger, and 1 tbsp of coriander.
- Now grind everything well and make a coarse paste.
- Now, take 3 boiled & peeled potatoes and grate them with the help of a grater in the Sabudana powder bowl.
- Now add 1 tbsp of prepared paste into the Sabudana powder bowl.
- Now add 1 tsp of pepper powder, rock salt as per taste, 1 tbsp of crushed roasted peanuts, and 2 tbsp of Sabudana(Raw).
- Now add finely chopped coriander and mix everything well(Add one more grated potato if the dough feels dry).
- Now transfer the mix into a greased tray and spread well.
- Now, cut it into pieces and let it set for some time.
- After some time, take out all pieces to a plate(If you want, you can store the pieces for 7 days).
- Now place a pan on flame, add oil for shallow fry, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add Vada into the pan and fry well until golden and crispy.
- After the Sabudana Vada turns golden and crispy, transfer them to a plate and fry the next batch.
- Now your Amazing Sabudana Vada is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
Instant Vrat Chutney
- To make the Instant Vrat Chutney, take 1 cup of whisked curd.
- Now add 1/4 tsp of pepper powder, rock salt to taste, 1 tsp of roasted peanuts powder, 1 tsp of prepared paste.
- Now mix everything well, and your instant Vrat Chutney is ready.
