  • Chopped carrot – 2 tbsp
  • Spring onion greens – 1/2 cup 
  • Oil – 2 tbsp 
  • Finely chopped garlic – 2 tbsp 
  • Finely chopped ginger – 1.5 tbsp 
  • Chopped green chilli – 4 
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Soya Sauce – 2 tbsp 
  • Red chilli sauce – 2 tbsp 
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp 
  • Salt as per taste

Materials

  • Noodles – 250 grams 
  • Chopped capsicum – 1 cup 
  • Chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup

  • Chopped carrot – 2 tbsp
  • Spring onion greens – 1/2 cup 
  • Oil – 2 tbsp 
  • Finely chopped garlic – 2 tbsp 
  • Finely chopped ginger – 1.5 tbsp 
  • Chopped green chilli – 4 
  • Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp 
  • Soya Sauce – 2 tbsp 
  • Red chilli sauce – 2 tbsp 
  • Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp 
  • Salt as per taste 

Instructions

  • First, place a pan/Kadhai on flame, add 2 liters of water, 2 tsp of salt, and boil on high flame.
  • When the water is hot, add noodles, stir a little and cook for 2 minutes until noodles are cooked 75-80% only.
  • When the noodle is 70-80% cooked, turn off the flame.
  • Now drain the water and wash the noodles with cold water to stop the cooking.
  • Now, take a tray, spread the boiled noodles on it, and let it dry.
  • Now take 1 cup of chopped cabbage, 1/4 cup of chopped capsicum, 2 chopped onions, 2 tbsp of chopped carrot, 1/2 cup of spring onion greens.
  • After the noodles and cooled down, add some drops of oil and grease the noodles.
  • Now place a pan/wok on high flame, add 2 tbsp of oil, and grease the pan.
  • After the oil is hot, add 2 tbsp of finely chopped garlic, 1.5 tbsp of chopped ginger, 4 chopped green chilli, and saute on high flame(stir continuously).
  • After 20 seconds, add chopped onion and saute well on high flame.
  • After 30 seconds, add chopped vegetables, stir and cook for 2 minutes on high flame.
  • After 2 minutes, add 1/2 tsp of pepper powder, 2 tbsp of soya sauce, 2 tbsp of red chilli sauce, 1 tbsp of tomato ketchup, and mix well.
  • Now add 1 tsp of white vinegar, mix well and cook.
  • Now add boiled noodles, salt as per taste, and mix everything well(Make sure you do not add salt before in this recipe).
  • After 30 seconds, turn off the flame, and your Perfect Veg Chow Mein is ready to serve.
