Materials
- Flaked Rice/ Poha- 1 cup
- Semolina – 1/2 cup
- Curry Leaves Curd -1/2 cup
- Salt as per Taste
- Chopped Coriander
- Chopped Red Chili Oil – 1 tsp
- Mustard – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds -1/2 tsp
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Chopped Green Chili – 3
- Chopped Onion – 1
- Dry Red Chili – 3 to 4
- Chopped Tomato – 1
- Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
- Garam Masala – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin Powder -1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri Red Chili Powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 2 Pinch
- water – 2 tsp
- Curd – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- To make Steam Poha Vada, take 1 cup of Poha/Flatten Rice, wash it 3-4 times and leave it for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, take a grinding jar and add soaked Poha into it.
- Next step – add 1/2 cup of semolina, some curry leaves, 1/2 cup of curd, and salt as per taste.
- Next step – blend on the pulse and make a coarse paste.
- Next step – take a strainer plate and grease it with oil.
- Next step – add chopped coriander and chopped red chilli, and mix well.
- Next step – one by one, prepare small vada with them and place them into a strainer plate.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add water, close the lid and boil well.
- After the water starts boiling, place Vada Strainer to the pan.
- Next step – close the lid and cook for 10-12 minutes on medium flame.
- After 10-12 minutes, turn off the flame and take out the strainer plate to the platform.
- Next step – transfer all steamed Poha Vada to a plate.
- Next step – place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1 tsp of mustard seeds and 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds, and let it crankle.
- Next step – add 1 tsp of chopped garlic and two chopped green chilli, and roast on medium flame.
- Next step – add one chopped onion, 3-4 dry red chilli, and roast well.
- Next step – add one chopped tomato, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 1/4 tsp of garam masala, 1/2 tsp of cumin powder, 1 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, two pinches of turmeric powder, and roast well.
- Next step – turn off the flame, add 2 tsp of water and mix well.
- Next step – add 2 tbsp of curd and mix well.
- Next step – turn on the flame, and cook the curd until it releases the oil.
- After the curd releases the oil, add prepared Poha Vada and mix well.
- Next step – add chopped coriander and mix well.
