Materials
- Curd – 1/2 cup
- Oil – 1/3 cup
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Semolina – 1 cup
- All-purpose flour – 1/4 cup
- Milk – 1 cup
- Salt – 2 cups
- Yellow food color – 2 pinch
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
- Vanilla Essence – 1 tsp
- Tutty Fruity
Instructions
- To make the amazing Sooji Cake, take a grinding jar, add 1/2 cup of fresh curd, 1/3 cup of oil, and 3/4 cup of sugar, and grind well for 1 minute.
- Next step – add 1 cup of Sooji, 1/4 cup of all-purpose flour, and 1 cup of milk(as required), blend well, and prepare a ribbon consistency batter.
- Next step – keep the batter aside and let it rest for 10 minutes.
- Next step – take Idli Mould and grease it with oil.
- Next step – place Idli Stand on flame and spread 2 cups of Salt on the Surface.
- Next step – close the lid and preheat for 7-8 minutes on medium flame.
- After 10 minutes, check the batter, add two pinches of yellow food colour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, and 1 tsp of vanilla essence, and whisk well.
- Next step – add colored tutty fruity and mix well.
- Next step – fill the cake batter into Idli Mould and garnish them with tutty fruity.
- Next step – place Idli Mould into Preheated Idli Stand.
- Next step – close the lid and cook on a medium flame for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, check your cake by inserting a toothpick into the cake; If the toothpick came out clean, this means the cake is baked perfectly.
