Materials

  • 500 gms All-Purpose Flour
  • 100 ML Cooking Oil
  • 1 Pinch Salt 
  • Water as Per required
  • 400 gms sugar 
  • 200 ML water 
  • 1/4 tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 pinch Saffron Strands
  • Cooking oil for deep fry

Instructions

  • To make shakkarpara, first take a wide bowl and add 500 grams of all-purpose flour to it.
  • Now add 100 mL oil to it, 1 pinch of salt, and mix everything with your hands.
  •  Now prepare the dough by adding water to it.
  • Now keep it covered for 10 minutes.
  • Now put a wok on the gar and add 400 grams of sugar and 200 ml of water in it and heat it low flame.
  • Now ad 1/4 tbsp of lime juice, 1 tsp of cardamom powder, few saffron strands in it.
  • Now turn off the gas when it is on 1 string consistency.
  • Now take all dough and make a roll of it and cut into equal pieces.
  •  Now roll it Medium( Now too thick or not too thin) and cut it from all sides and make a rectangle.
  • Now add some dust of meda on it and take a cutter or knife and make stripes.
  • Now join edges of 5 stripes and twist all rings and form a ring.
  • Now apply water to the edges of the stripe and join them.
  • Now follow the same steps and make rigs from all dough.
  • Now Put a pan on gas and add oil for deep fry and turn on the gas on medium flame.
  •  After the oil is heated add then add rings in it and fry them until golden crisp.
  • Afer they Becomes golden crisp take them out into the plate.
  • Now Just heat the sugar syrup again.
  • Now dip all rings in sugar syrup and coat all sides for 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Now take all rigs out on a plate and Now your shahi shakkarpare is ready and you can enjoy them.

Shakkarpara Recipe – Step By Step
