Sabudana Barfi Paag Recipe | How to make Sabudana Barfi at Home | Sabudana Barfi Recipe
Materials
- Sabudana/Tapioca – 1 Cup
- Ghee – 1 tbsp
- Desiccated coconut -2 tbsp
- Almonds – 1 tbsp
- Pistachio -1tbsp
- Milk – 1/2 ltr (500 ml)
- Sugar – 3/4 cup
- Milk Cream – 2 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
- Garnish with dryfruits
Instructions
- To make the perfect Sabudana Paag Barfi, take 1 cup of Sabudana.
- Now take a grinding jar, add 1 cup of Sabudana, grind well and make a fine powder.
- Now place a kadhai on flame, add 1 tbsp of ghee, and melt.
- After ghee melts, add prepared Sabudana powder into kadhai and roast well.
- After 2 minutes, add 2 tbsp of desiccated coconut, 1 tbsp of finely chopped almonds, 1 tbsp of chopped pistachio, and mix well.
- After 30 seconds, turn off the flame, transfer the Sabudana mix to a plate and let it cool.
- Now again, place the kadhai on flame, add 1/2 liter of milk(use full cream milk if possible) and boil on high flame.
- After milk starts boiling, add 3/4 cup of sugar and melt the sugar.
- Now turn the flame to low, add 2 tbsp of milk cream(milk malai) and mix well.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder and boil.
- Now, little by little, add sabudana powder, mix well and cook until it turns thick.
- After the mix leaves the pan, turn off the flame.
- Now transfer the Barfi mix into a greased tray and spread well.
- Now garnish your sabudana paag with chopped pistachio and let it cool.
- After your Barfi has cooled down, cut it into small pieces.
- Now your Perfect Sabudana Barfi Paag is completely Ready, and you can enjoy it.
