  • Peunut – 1/2 cup
  • Bengal gram – 1/4 cup
  • Green Chilli – 2
  • Tamarind 
  • Coriander 
  • Salt as per Taste 
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1/2 tsp
  • Black gram/Urad dal – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Curry Leaves 
  • Dried Red Chili – 2

  • Rice flour – 1.5 cup
  • Semolina – 1/2 cup
  • Salt – 1 tsp
  • Curd – 1 cup
  • ENO Fruit Salt

For Instant Chutney

  • Oil -1 tsp
  • Peunut – 1/2 cup
  • Bengal gram – 1/4 cup
  • Green Chilli – 2
  • Tamarind
  • Coriander
  • Salt as per Taste
  • Water – 1/2 cup
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Mustard – 1/2 tsp
  • Black gram/Urad dal – 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida – 2 pinch
  • Curry Leaves
  • Dried Red Chili – 2

Instructions

  • To make the perfect Idli, take a bowl, add 1.5 cups of rice flour, 1/2 cup of semolina, 1 tsp of salt, and mix everything well.
  • Next step – add 1 cup of curd and mix well.
  • Next step – add water in batches, whisk well, and prepare a semi-thick batter.
  • Next step – cover the batter and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • Next step – take Idli mold and grease it with oil.
  • Next step – check the Idli batter, add 1 tsp of Eno fruit salt, and gently mix well.
  • Next step – fill the batter into idli molds.
  • Next step – place a pan on flame, add water, close the lid, and boil.
  • After the water starts boiling, place the Idli mold on the Kadhai.
  • Next step – close the lid and stem the Idli for 10-12 minutes.
  • After 10-12 minutes, check your Idli and take out the Idli mold.
  • Next step – de-mold the Idli with the help of a spoon or knife.

Instant Chutney Recipe

  • To make the Instant Chutney, place a pan on flame, add 1 tsp of oil and heat well.
  • Next step – add 1/2 cup of peanuts, 1/4 tsp of roasted Gram Dal, and roast well on medium flame.
  • Next step – add two green chillies, 1/2 inch of ginger, tamarind pieces, and coriander stem, and roast well.
  • Next step – take a grinding jar, add cooled chutney mix, salt per taste, 1/2 cup of water, and make a fine chutney.
  • Next step – place a tempering pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of oil, 1/2 tsp of mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp of black gram, two pinch asafoetida, curry leaves, two dry red chillies, and mix well.
  • Next step – turn off the flame and transfer the prepared tempering to the chutney.
  • Now your perfect Instant Chutney is ready, and you can enjoy it with Rice Flour Idli.
