Restaurant Style Kulcha Recipe | How to make Kulcha at Home | Instant Tawa Kulcha Recipe
Materials
- 2 cups All Purpose Flour/Maida
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tsp Sugar Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 4 tbsp Butter
- 4 tbsp Curd
- Kalonji/Nigella
- Coriander
- Kasurimethi
- Butter
Instructions
- To make Restaurant style kulcha, first take 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add salt as per taste, 1 tsp of sugar powder, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/2 tsp of baking soda, 2 tsp of butter, 4 tbsp of curd.
- Now, mix everything well with your hands.
- Now add water as required and knead well.
- Now add 2 tsp of butter and knead it again and prepare a soft dough.
- Now, place the dough on a platform and knead with palm for 2 to 3 minutes and make a dough.
- Now cover it with a wet cloth and let it rest for 40-60 minutes.
- After 1 hour, check the dough and knead it one more time.
- Now, divide the dough into medium size balls.
- Now, take a ball and tuck it inside to remove the cracks.
- Now grease the roller board and roll the dough on it to medium thickness.
- Now add nigella on top of Rolled Kulcha and press with your hands.
- Now apply water on the rolled Kulcha and sprinkle chopped coriander and Kasuri methi on top of it and roll one time with the roller.
- Now, place the Tawa on flame and heat well.
- Now, apply water on the backside of the Kulcha before cooking.
- Now, place the Kulcha on Tawa.
- Now sprinkle some water on the side of Kulcha on Tawa.
- After you sprinkle the water, close the lid and cook for 30-40 seconds on low, medium flame.
- After 30 seconds, remove the lid, check the Kulcha, turn it to another side, and cook on low flame.
- Now, to give the restaurant style look, take out the Tawa from the flame and roast the Kulcha direct on flame with the help of a tong.
- Now apply butter on Kulcha, and your Restaurant style Kulcha is ready, and you can enjoy it.
- Now, to make the Kulcha with the second way, take a dough ball and tuck it inside to remove the cracks.
- Now grease the roller board and roll the dough on it to medium thickness.
- Now add nigella and chopped coriander, Kasuri methi on top of Rolled Kulcha, and press your hands.
- Now, place the Tawa on flame and heat well.
- Now, apply water on the backside of Tawa and place the Kulcha on Tawa.
- Now cook it for 30 seconds.
- After 30 seconds, turn the flame to low, take off the Tawa from the gas, turn the Tawa over the gas, and roast the Kulcha.

Resturent Style Kulcha Recipe – Step By Step
