Materials
- Cooking Oil – 2 tsp
- Chopped onion – 1 pcs
- Chana Dal – 2 tbsp
- Red chilli – 4 pcs
- Cumin seeds – 1/4 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Garlic cloves – 4 pcs
- Tamarind juice – 1 tbsp
Instructions
- To make the perfect Red chutney for Mysore Masala Dosa, place a pan on flame.
- Now add 2 tsp of oil and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add 1/4 tsp of cumin seeds and let it crackle.
- After cumin seeds start crackling, add chopped onion, 2 tbsp of chana dal, garlic cloves, and roast as little.
- After the onion turns a little golden, add red chilli and roast everything well.
- After the onion turns golden, turn off the flame and let it cool.
- Now, take a grinding jar and add chutney mix.
- Now add little water, tamarind paste, and salt as per taste.
- Now grind well and make a fine paste.
- Now your Mysore Masala Dosa Red chutney is completely ready.
