Potato Wedges Recipe | How to make Potato Wedges at Home | Easy Snack Recipe
Materials
- Potato – 4
- Salt – 2 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 4 tbsp
- Cornflour – 4 tbsp
- Rice flour – 2 tbsp
- Salt as per Taste
- Red Chili (Lal Mirch) – 1 tsp
- Oregano – 1tsp
- Ginger & Garlic Paste
For Cheesy Dip
- Butter – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 1/2 tsp
- Chopped Garlic (Lahsun) – 1 tsp
- All-purpose flour – 1 tbsp
- Milk – 1/2 cup
- Cheese Slice – 1
Instructions
- To make Perfect Potato Wedges, first take four potatoes.
- Now, one by one, cut all potatoes like the following images( cut all potatoes into 16 pieces and do not peel the potatoes).
- Now, place a pan on flame, add 1 litre of water, and heat well on medium flame.
- After the water is hot, add 1 tsp of salt, potato pieces and boil for 4-5 minutes until potatoes are cooked 50%.
- After 4 minutes, check the potato with a fork, turn off the flame, and strain the water.
- Now take a bowl, add 4 tbsp of all-purpose flour, 4 tbsp of corn starch, 2 tbsp of rice flour, salt as per taste, 1 tsp of red chilli powder, 1 tsp of oregano, 1/2 tsp of garlic paste.
- Now, little by little, add water and prepare the lump-free medium consistency batter.
- Now add 1 tsp of red chilli flakes, and mix well.
- After potatoes are medium hot, sprinkle 2 tbsp of cornflour on them and coat generously.
- Now, place a pan on flame and add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the oil is medium hot, one by one dip potato pieces into the prepared batter, then add them into oil and fry well on medium flame.
- After one minute, take out roasted potato wedges to a plate and fry the next batch.
- After frying the potato wedges, freeze them in the freezer( If you do not want to eat your potatoes wedges now, you can store them in the freezer).
- Now, take out potato wedges from the fridge.
- Now again, place the pan on flame, add oil for frying, and heat well.
- After the oil is hot, add potato wedges into hot oil and fry well for 1 minute.
- After your potato wedges turn crispy and golden, take them out to a plate.
- Now your Potato Badges is completely ready, and you can enjoy them.
Cheesy Dip Recipe
- To make Instant cheesy dip, place a pan on flame, add 1 tbsp of butter, 1/2 tsp of oil, and melt well.
- After butter melts, add 1 tsp of finely chopped garlic and saute a little for some seconds.
- Now add 1 tbsp of all-purpose flour, mix well, and saute a little.
- Now add 1/2 cup of milk, mix well, and cook on low flame.
- After some time, add one cheese slice, salt as per taste, and mix well.
- After it turns thick, turn off the flame.
- Now your Instant Cheesy dip is ready, and you can enjoy it with Potato Wedges.
