Materials
- All-purpose flour – 2 cups
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Water as Required
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- To make the perfect Poori Paratha take a bowl and add 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
- Now add salt, little by little, add water, mix well and prepare a soft dough.
- Now, apply ghee to the dough and let it rest for 1/2 hour.
- Now take a bowl, add 2 tbsp of ghee, 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour and mix well.
- After 1/2 hour, check the dough and knead well one more time.
- Now, one by one, take a small portion of dough, prepare the small balls and coat them with flour.
- Now, take a ball and roll it to a medium thickness.
- Now, apply ghee paste to the rolled dough and dust some flour on it.
- Now roll it like the following image.
- Now again, roll it left to right like Jalebi.
- Now roll it to medium thickness like a paratha.
- Now, place a pan on flame, add oil for frying and heat well.
- After the hot oil, add rolled Paratha into oil and fry well.
- After the Paratha turns golden, transfer it to a plate and fry the next Paratha.
