Paneer tikka Recipe | How to make Paneer tikka without tandoor | Paneer tikka on Tawa
Materials
- 2 tbsp Besan/Gram Flour
- 5 tbsp Curd
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/4 tsp Ajwain
- 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 2 tsp Cumin Powder
- Salt as per taste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Chaat Masala
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Kasurimethi
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- Chopped Coriander
- Onion Petals
- Capsicum Quatered
- 300 gms Paneer
Instructions
- To make restaurant-style Paneer tikka, first place a pan on flame, add 2 tbsp of gram flour, and roast for 2 minutes.
- After 2 minutes, turn off the flame and keep it aside.
- Now, take a bowl and add 5 tbsp of thick curd, 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
- Now add 1/4 tsp of ajwain, 2 tsp of Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of black salt, 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of garam masala.
- Now add 1 tsp of Kasuri methi, 2 tbsp of roasted gram flour, 2 tbsp of hot mustard oil.
- Now, mix everything well with the help of a spoon.
- Now add 1 tsp of lemon juice and mix well.
- Now add chopped coriander, one onion petals, one quartered capsicum, and mix well.
- Now add 300 grams of cheese cubes and coat well with your hands.
- Now, let it marinate for 15 minutes in the fridge.
- Now, take skewers and pierce in capsicum, onion, and paneer alternatively.
- Now place a Tawa on flame, add a little butter, and grease the pan.
- Now, one by one, place prepared paneer tikka into pan and roast well on low, medium flame.
- After some time, turn them to another side and roast well until golden and crisp.
- After Paneer tikka turns golden, transfer them to a plate.
- Now, turn on the flame to make paneer tikka with the second trick.
- Now, directly roast Paneer tikka on the flame on all sides.
- Now your paneer tikka is ready, and to give smoggy flavor to it, place hot charcoal in the paneer tikka plate.
- Now add 1 tsp of hot butter on charcoal, close the lid, and leave it for 3-4 minutes.
- After 3-4 minutes, remove the lid and check it.
